Why is a black box in a PDF not enough?

A drawn rectangle is a visual layer. The original text usually still exists underneath and can be copied or extracted. Omit performs true redaction that deletes the underlying content, not just covers it.

Can I still review before anything is written?

Yes. Omit defaults to automatic redaction but offers an optional review step where you approve, reject, or adjust each detection before a redacted copy is written.

What about handwriting or scanned pages?
