Pasting is genuinely frictionless, and for text with no personal or client data it is perfectly fine. Omit is for the moments when the text does contain PII and a careless paste becomes a reportable incident. If you never handle sensitive data, you do not need us.

Questions people ask

Does Clipboard Guard slow down my normal copy and paste?

No. It only rewrites the clipboard when it detects PII in what you are about to paste into an AI tool. Ordinary text passes through unchanged.

What if I actually need the AI to see the real value?

Use the deliberate override, Ctrl+Alt+V. It pastes the raw text and records that you chose to, so the exception is intentional and logged rather than accidental.
